In-Home Euthanasia – $400

Includes:

– Travel to your home
– Gentle sedation and pain medication
– Euthanasia
– Paw Pals Shadow Box Paw Print
– A keepsake lock of fur
– Grief support literature and resources
– An Arbor Day donation that includes a tree planted in your pet’s honor

Additional house call fees will apply for:

– Commutes over 35 minutes
– Pets over 100 lbs
– Pets with significant behavior issues
– Services performed after hours, weekends, or holidays
– Locations requiring extended travel

Private Cremation or Individual Aquamation

– Your pet will be the only pet in the crematory chamber during the cremation process
– Your pet will have an individual chamber during the aquamation process

*Cremated remains will need to be picked up at Lasting Paws located at 1122 N Denver Ave Loveland, CO 80538. Shipping can be arranged upon request for an additional $30 fee*

I know people will say their dog was the sweetest, but we really do mean it! She was the best little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel we could have ever lived side by side with.  A true “snuggler” who smiled openly by trumping in that fluffy tail. When Lizzie’s health was no longer to be fixed nor improved upon the professional services of Dr. Kayla were exemplary. Although my tears still flow easily, I am so very grateful for the kindness and respectful care given to my husband, myself and our precious furry girl. To echo all the other sentiments on here, there are no words to adequately thank the team at Western Skies for their care, love, and gentleness during these dark days. My sweet girl Reagan, my soul dog of over 15 years became sick very suddenly last week and unfortunately crossed the rainbow bridge on Wednesday evening. Dr. Keum was so gentle and wonderful with her and us during the process, and like someone else said, came into our home as a friend with such gentleness. Thank you to the entire team, and especially Dr. Keum. We cannot thank you enough.

Over the years we have had them come into our home to help our beloved senior pets find rest in their passing on. Most recently we had to part (for now) with our sweet cat, Tye, and Dr. Kayla was so kind, and precise, and gave Tye love and dignity in his euthanasia process. She and Emily (first contact in the office call) have the most gracious, helpful presence in a difficult  time. We are grateful for Western Skies.

They explained everything up front and were patient and helpful. We were able to say goodbye to a beloved family member outside by our memorial waterfall where she was as happy as possible. Not having to wrestle her (she was an Irish wolfhound and hard to move around) into my truck and take her to the vet where she would be stressed was amazing! I couldn’t recommend this place more!!! They stuck by the prices listed on their website and there were no hidden costs that popped up either. Not being required to call for complete pricing like the other places offering this service was absolutely fantastic! At a time when I didn’t want to make this ultimate and final, heart wrenching decision, not having to call around to a bunch of different places was a blessing indeed! It was even a reasonable cost and not much more than my vet. They took care of every step too so I didn’t have to coordinate aftercare, another amazing aspect of their services. I got memorial keepsakes and a tribute to my girl on their website too. They really were fantastic! Stay at home when you have to say goodbye and have Western Skies there when you do…. You won’t  regret it!
